Zapak.com - India’s Gaming Portal

Zapak Digital Entertainment is a full-service Gaming Entertainment Company and a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

They claim to have the best and the most exclusive game content to please and titillate both the casual and the hardcore gamer.

The Games on the site have been broken up into Action, Arcade, Racing, Puzzles, Sports, Strategy and Multi player section.

Favorites:

In the Action section my personal favorite’s are

Gladiator This was the game I spent my entire weekend playing and managed to defeat one Arena Champion. The Second one always got the better of me. I found this game to be the most addictive one and still give it a shot once in a while.

Heli Attack 3

Heli Attack was good fun reminded me off the 32Bit Sega Games a little like Contra.

In the Arcade section I have played just one game which can get monotonous after a point of time called Caravan Toss I managed to make a score of 417.5 in the short time I played it.

A hilarious racing game that I thoroughly enjoyed, Pope Box Racer

In this game you got to race the Pope and a lot of special powers straight out of the Bible.

Another one I like is Kauntracktor which is an enjoyable game but has a few bugs. If you hold down the accelerator in the start and don’t release it, your tractor goes flying into the air and does not get back down.

The other games I have tried are in the Multi player section are pretty old like chess and connect 4.

I predict that this portal will become one of India’s top portals very soon.

Zapak has virtually eaten IndiaGames.com alive, a site by the looks of it, a better interface and more interesting games, but is not a free service.

If you compare Zapak's growth in the last three months it has nearly three times the growth that it took India Games more than three years to achieve.

See Zapak's current growth using Alexa's ranking system by clicking here.

Zapak is backed by a multi-billion dollar company Reliance, I think gaming is slowly capturing a nice chunk of the Indian market at last. Over the last one year gaming has picked up in India at an alarming rate. Even Microsoft's, Xbox 360's advertisement campaign speaks about how big gaming is for them.

Before you can play games on either of the sites you will have to register for both of them.
